Motors Soaked Underwater for 3 Years, Still Working Perfectly?
Construction sites are generally harsh, complex and demanding environments. Many electromechanical devices have to be installed in low-lying waterlogged areas, confined narrow spaces or open outdoor locations. Exposed to high humidity, intermittent or constant water immersion for long periods, the equipment also suffers from multiple external hazards including temperature fluctuations, limescale corrosion and dust accumulation, which continuously erode and damage internal components. Once motors suffer water ingress, rust or short-circuit failure, waterproof performance becomes the decisive factor determining their service life and operational stability.
Our company has intensified R&D efforts to continuously optimize and upgrade the waterproof protection of motors. We have also carried out dedicated long-term underwater immersion simulation tests to verify the motors’ waterproof durability.

In this test, telescopic motors and clutch motors were fully submerged in water tanks for continuous soaking, simulating a service life of 3 to 4 years. Algae and limescale gradually formed in the stagnant water over time, recreating the severe waterlogged corrosive working conditions encountered on construction sites.
After long-term underwater erosion, the motor exteriors were fully covered with algae and moss, subjected to persistent moisture penetration and years of corrosive wear. Multiple regular power-on tests were conducted throughout the experiment. Both motors ran smoothly with precise, unobstructed movements, with no risk of electric leakage or internal rusting. All performance indicators remained identical to their factory-new condition.
This long-duration water immersion test fully demonstrates the outstanding waterproof sealing and anti-corrosion capabilities of our products. Moving forward, we will keep refining manufacturing processes and upgrading product quality, supplying stable, long-lasting motors to meet the requirements of all humid, water-prone and harsh working conditions.
